PM Advertising in Lexington, Ky., announced today that Mary Ellet will join the agency as a marketing coordinator beginning in August after completing the Godolphin Flying Start program this summer.

“I had the opportunity to work with PM Advertising during my time in the Godolphin Flying Start program, and now I am thrilled to be given the chance to join the team after graduation,” Ellet said. “I look forward to starting my career with one of the top equine advertising agencies in the world.”

Raised in a racing family in Southern California, Ellet graduated from Chapman University in Orange, Calif., with a B.A. in communication studies and French with a minor in public relations. Ellet ponied horses on the Southern California race circuit for six years and worked for several trainers, including Bob Baffert, Jerry Hollendorfer, and John Sadler. She interned in Del Mar Thoroughbred Club’s marketing department for the 2014 racing season and worked at Chapman University’s study abroad office for two years.

“Our team at PM consists of highly talented and enthusiastic people, and Mary fits right in,” said Jon Siegel, PM Advertising’s managing partner. “She has extensive industry experience; she is passionate, creative and organized, and I am confident she will be an asset to PM and our clients.”

Clodagh Kavanagh, director of Godolphin’s Flying Start Program, added, “Mary completed her work placement at PM in June of 2016, and she has been an advocate of the company ever since. A number of our graduates represent clients of PM Advertising in the United States and Australia, so the relationship between Godolphin Flying Start and PM is multi-layered and very positive.”
