Jon Siegel - Co-owner & Managing Partner

Owner and creative director of PM Advertising for nearly 12 years, Jon was honored with his first Emmy Award in 2015, and his passion has propelled the company to new heights in recent years as PM Advertising is one of the most successful equine-driven agencies in the world. PM Advertising manages clients across the globe, including many accounts in Lexington, Ky.

Christine Siegel - Co-owner, Executive Director & Web Manager

As co-owner and executive director, Christine wears many hats at PM. Among her chief responsibilities is overseeing PM’s robust web department. Christine grew up in the Thoroughbred industry in Florida. Her parents managed large Thoroughbred stallion farms and often traveled to Keeneland and Fasig-Tipton sales. She also enjoys the industry from the sport horse side as an eventer and is currently working on earning a bronze medal in Dressage with her retired Thoroughbred. Owner of Highbrook Farm in Nicholasville, Ky. Christine is active in the community and as a two-term president of Masterson Equestrian Trust, she partners with the Lexington Fayette Urban County Government.

Michael Compton - Chief Operating Officer

With over 20 years of experience in the Thoroughbred industry, Michael has worked in leadership positions for Florida Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association, where he was editor-in-chief of The Florida Horse and Wire to Wire magazines; California Thoroughbred Breeders Association, serving as assistant general manager of the association and managing editor of the California Thoroughbred magazine; and as a senior correspondent for Blood-Horse magazine. His editorial work has also appeared on ESPN.com, Thoroughbred Racing Commentary.com, and in numerous other industry trades. A communications specialist with an emphasis on content creation, Michael joined PM Advertising in September of 2015.

Kayla Siegel - Client Relations

Having grown up in the family business, Kayla comes by her creativity and passion for advertising and sales naturally. After honing her sales and client relations skills as a top-ranked sales professional in the automotive industry, Kayla joined PM full time in 2019 to expand and diversify the agency’s client base. Passionate about helping companies and individuals achieve their marketing goals, Kayla combines her artistic talents with her extensive customer-service skills to develop sales strategies, solicit new business, and grow PM’s portfolio.

Laura Lacy - Production Manager

Laura started working summers in a printing plant as a teenager. It was this experience that led her to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Printing Management/Graphic Arts from Murray State University. After working at well-known printing companies such as Rand McNally and World Color, she became the production manager of Thoroughbred Times, where she remained for over 12 years. She is a member of the American Advertising Federation and stays active in the local community by participating in several social, charitable, and artistic groups.

Mary Ellet - Marketing Coordinator & Copywriter

Mary has been in the Thoroughbred industry all of her life, growing up on the backside of the Southern California racetracks. She worked as a pony rider at Santa Anita Park, Hollywood Park, and Del Mar on weekends and school holidays all throughout her high
school and college years. After graduating from Chapman University with a B.A. in Communication Studies and French language, with a minor in Public Relations, Mary was accepted to the Godolphin Flying Start program, a two-year international management
and leadership training program. She completed a 6-week internship at PM Advertising while on the Godolphin Flying Start program and joined the PM team officially after completion of the course in June 2017. In addition to her role as marketing coordinator and
copywriter, she is also a staff photographer. She owns two horses and still ponies horses every morning at Keeneland.

Terri Kinder - Accounting

A lifelong Kentuckian born in Richmond, Ky., Terri has been with PM Advertising for 12 years. Prior to that, she worked in banking for 12 years and in healthcare administration/accounting for 20 years. She is currently studying economics at the University of Kentucky and spends her time away from the office with her grandchildren, gardening on her farm, and participating in animal rescue.

Jason Resinger - Director of Video

Jason graduated in 2005 from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Telecommunications. He began his professional career at NBC, where he was promoted quickly to Creative Services, winning a Telly Award in the process. He was introduced to the Thoroughbred industry working as a videographer at the Kentucky Derby and was immediately hooked. Now in his 12th year at PM Advertising, Jason has traveled all over the world covering racing and all the excitement that comes with it, nabbing numerous Addy Awards along the way.

Justin Fowler - Senior Graphic Designer

Justin has been a member of the team for more than 12 years and has more than 20 years of experience as a creative professional. Graduating High School at an accelerated pace in 2000, Justin was immediately offered a position as video editor at an up-and-coming advertising agency in Central Florida. Since then he has won several awards for outstanding work, including a craft Emmy Award for video editing, as well as gold and judge’s choice Addy awards for brochure design. He is proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, including an in-depth knowledge of Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.

Rafael Robinson - Web Developer

With over 17 years experience in web development, Rafael has become accustomed to the ever-changing environment of the web. He is able to create dynamic websites using several languages and libraries that include but are not limited to: PHP, Javascript, Wordpress, Bootstrap, and jQuery.

Jeremy Muncy - Web Developer

After graduating college with an Associates of Applied Science degree in Graphic Design, Jeremy worked as a web developer for a local email marketing company. He quickly rose to become the Advertising Coordinator of that company, where he managed accounts such as Facebook, Google, Microsoft, AT&T, IBM, Verizon, to name a few. During that time he also held the mantle of lead web designer / developer. Web development became his true passion, and ultimately led him to his current role at PM Advertising. He enjoys the fast-paced environment and constantly pushing the design / development envelope.

John Overbee - Web Developer

John is a seasoned web developer and graphic designer. He started building computers and making websites as a teenager before he had a career in mind. He followed in his father’s footsteps and earned a degree in electrical engineering at Eastern Kentucky University, but while in college discovered his true passion was for web development and graphic design. While finishing his degree he got his first job in the web industry with a B2B email marketing and ad agency where he learned hands-on about web design and graphics. This jump-started his passion for working in the web industry and he never looked back.

Jim Nelson - Lead Programmer

Jim has had a varied career, from CAD designing and CAM programming plastic injection molds; to writing software for the A10 Warthog’s automated test station; to leading the design and build of a million-dollar warranty analysis system for a Fortune 500 company. With over 20 years of IT experience, Jim brings a wealth of training and experience to our software department.

Wendy Magee - Graphic Designer

Wendy began designing ads at The Florida Horse magazine in the 1980s. Following a stint in Lexington where she worked the Keeneland sales, exercised horses at the track (eventually earning her trainer’s license) and sale-prepped yearlings at Mill Ridge, she joined PM Advertising as a graphic artist. Wendy’s strong points as an artist are many and she is instrumental in the creation of brochures, magazines, specialty print and direct-mail pieces and typography. Wendy is a multiple Addy Award winner and in 2012 was honored with a Best Art Direction Addy for her work on a brochure for WinStar Farm.

Kirin Knapp - Senior Graphic Designer

Kirin is a well-rounded graphic designer born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She offers PM a diverse range of skills with over ten years of design and illustration experience. After earning her BFA in Graphic Design from Eastern Kentucky University, she began designing and building websites and ads for an email advertising company. She later illustrated for several young readers books, and also gained experience as an in-house designer creating logos, packaging, catalogs, screen print designs, and appliqué art. She has been an integral part of some of PM Advertising’s signature, award-winning projects, including WinStar Farm’s Constellation magazine.

Sarah Sweeney - Administrative Assistant

Sarah joined PM Advertising in September of 2018 following more than 15 years of working in the publishing industry. Sarah wears many hats for PM, and she is often the first point of contact at the agency. She utilizes her vast experience to assist in various departments, including being a liaison between photographers and accounting, collaborating on special projects, and editing and assisting with the production of Constellation magazine, a bi-annual publication PM creates for WinStar Farm.

Before coming to work at PM, Sarah spent the majority of her career at the Thoroughbred Times where she worked closely with clients as a sales assistant prior to transitioning into editorial where she worked as a photo editor and also managed the publication’s extensive library of photographs. Additionally, she was an associate editor and contributor for a trio of national magazines.

Sarah is an avid reader and animal lover, having spent much of her life involved in animal advocacy and rescue.
